Fellowship & Hospitality

St. Paul’s is a community of believers who celebrate God’s revealing Himself in his son, Jesus Christ. We are a family, a community bound together by our common faith. A number of activities are organized to bring the family together so that we might know each other better. St. Paul’s Fellowship Ministry supports the growth of St. Paul’s by planning, organizing and conducting programs and events that encourage the joy of Christian fellowship within the parish. They plan receptions for the Easter service, All American Picnic, various potluck suppers, and coffee hour after the Sunday morning Services.

Dinner Clubs – The dinner clubs are organized geographically and generally meet once a month for dinner, fun and fellowship. Members of the congregation take turns hosting an event. This past year some of the events were a wine-tasting party, dinner and the theater, a 60’s night, a summer picnic, a southwestern dinner, a B-B-Q, and many more. The events are usually announces in the newsletter, bulletin and this website.

Coffee Hour – Members of the congregation take turns hosting the coffee hour following the 10:30 AM worship. It is a chance to welcome visitors, members and friends and catch-up on each other’s lives and families.

Special Events – This group takes on events that are on a larger scale, and take more time and planning than most of the events that Fellowship is normally responsible for. In previous years they have held “It’s A Grand Night For Singing”, helped with Sunday School Kick-Off and Lunch in August, and worked with ‘Embracing Our Families’ by hosting Rudolph’s Roundup, a pre-Advent event of food, Christmas crafts and fellowship.

Telephone Calling – Calls are made to church members to communicate upcoming events and to encourage their participation.
